Who the Foundation Serves:

  • Wisconsin K-12 education: This is the public school system in Wisconsin and we will address the needs of agriculture education departments in Wisconsin’s Middle and High Schools. Wisconsin Agriculture Teachers serve on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
  • Wisconsin FFA Center: This organization coordinates the FFA (agricultural education student group) and its programs in Wisconsin. Grants will be accepted for review from the Wisconsin FFA Center so long as they are educational in nature and benefit agriculture education students.
  • Wisconsin FFA Foundation: This organization coordinates fund raising activities for FFA and its programs in Wisconsin. It has also sponsored curriculum initiatives in agriculture science and mathematics based education. Grants may be forwarded to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation for administration.
  • Wisconsin Association of Agriculture Educators (WAAE): This is the professional organization of Wisconsin’s Agriculture Teachers. It offers award programs for outstanding agriculture teachers as well as monetary rewards for excellence in classroom activities and new curriculum initiatives. WAAE members shall serve on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
  • Wisconsin Agriculture Education and Workforce Development Council: This organization promotes agriculture education as a means for providing skilled workers in the agriculture related areas of Wisconsin’s Workforce. Members serve on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
  • Technical College System: Agriculture departments within the system may apply for grants from the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc. The president of the system or his/her designee serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
  • University of Wisconsin System Consortium for Agriculture/Natural Resources Education: Agriculture Colleges may apply for grants from the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc. A representative of the University of Wisconsin System Consortium for Agriculture/Natural Resources Education serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
  • Education Consultant/State FFA Advisor: Agriculture and Natural Resoruces Career and Technical Education Team-Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
  • University of Wisconsin-Extension: A representative serves on the the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Agriculture Education Foundation, Inc.
